ABOUT STEVE
Steve Rosen is a freelance portrait, event, and landscape
photographer whose style incorporates the natural beauty
of photojournalism with the expertise of a digital artist.
Memories of your wedding, bar or bat mitzvah, anniversary
or any special occasion will come alive through candid
and posed images that create lasting memories of your
day. Steve’s “story telling” style
of photography will be incorporated into outdoor family
portraits, or on location sports, dance, or theatre
photo shoots. Individual and group/team photos are always
available. A fully portable lighting setup, along with
Steve’s thorough understanding of lighting technique,
will bring a studio into any setting that is used for
your special event. Steve’s images are presented
in color, black and white, sepia, and hand-colored black
and white that are incorporated into CD and DVD’s,
custom collages, and a variety of albums that are genuinely
artistic and memorable.
Steve’s technical knowledge and skills as a
digital artist have enabled him to teach and consult
with professional photographers and graphic artists.
As a member of the National Association of Photoshop
Professionals, he is an expert in the development
of workflow technique, digital image manipulation,
and website design and publication. Steve’s
skills include the ability to integrate various components
of software programs into a unique system for the
management and application of digital images. The
end result for the “working” photographer
is an adaptable and user friendly system that can
be implemented for optimum output. Steven’s
expertise in using Photoshop CS enables him to teach
and/or consult on techniques for photo retouching
and digital manipulation. A working knowledge of web
site design renders a product that is distinctly engaging.
The final results are analyzed to be picked up by
the major search engines and quickly published.
